The Team at Pacific Builds

Chris Joseph is Managing Director of Pacific Builds. With a 1st Class Honours Degree in Commerce from the University of Canterbury, majoring in Economics and Management Chris is well equipped in the overall running of the business and its operations. Chris has been here from the beginning and has been a key part of establishing the company as a major player in the Canterbury rebuild. Previous jobs include teaching at the New Zealand College of Business and coordinating events at the Celebration Events Centre. In addition to his work in the community which includes participating in the Aspiring Leaders Forum, an MP sponsored event at Parliament in Wellington. His key role at Pacific is to ensure the smooth running of each aspect of the company-including job flow, onsite operations, recruitment, customer and staff satisfaction.

 Dave Joseph is the founder and owner of the Pacific Group. He founded Pacific after the September 2010 earthquake, with the very first job being at the Pacific Tower, in the central city. Dave has had over 25 years experience in plastering, painting and building companies-as both an owner and operator. With a strong community focus, Dave is a real believer in helping those less fortunate and giving them an opportunity to go further. He has worked with youth for many years, as well as helping Phillipstown School and a number of local Churches with various projects. Dave’s core role in the company is training and coaching staff to reach their full potential while overseeing the overall business operations.
